WDY Construction is proud to be the selected groundworks contractor for a new residential development in Braunton, North Devon. Designed by award-winning architect Guy Greenfield, this project features 23 units – comprising 11 houses and 12 affordable units – situated near the River Caen and Knowle Water. The site offers picturesque views south towards the Braunton Burrows.
Our comprehensive groundworks package includes a variety of both civil engineering and groundworks services, including external drainage, installation of an attenuation tank, piling, and the laying of floor slabs. The project will also include the erection of timber frames for the new units.
This development stands out for its sustainable design. Each unit is equipped with south-facing glazed facades to benefit from natural light, air source heat pump water cylinders, and high levels of insulation, demonstrating a strong commitment to environmental sustainability and responsibility.
